A 37-year-old Rolls-Royce driver in St. Petersburg struck and severely injured a 35-year-old motorcyclist after making an illegal U-turn across a double solid line. The biker, a member of a Dagestani motorcycle club, is currently hospitalized with serious injuries.
The incident occurred last Saturday. Witnesses reported the motorcyclist sustained severe injuries and was immediately transported to a nearby hospital.
The Rolls-Royce driver, who obtained his license in 2024, has a history of traffic violations, with 41 citations recorded since receiving his license. There are also reports that the driver attempted to remove the license plates from his vehicle after the collision. Social media posts allege the license plates were worth millions of rubles.
Further investigation reveals a person with the same name as the driver received a certificate of honor from the President of the Russian Federation for “active participation in the preparation and holding of socially significant events.” This individual is also reportedly involved in the restaurant business, chairs a real estate owners association, and is engaged in tobacco production. The injured motorcyclist has 13 traffic violations between 2024-2025.
