Changes to the Operating Hours of the “Komendantsky Prospekt” Metro Station Due to Escalator Overhaul

The “Komendantsky Prospekt” metro station in St. Petersburg will have restricted entry during weekday morning hours due to a major escalator overhaul.

From June 30 to August 29, the vestibule of the station will be closed to incoming passengers on weekdays from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM.

This temporary change is necessary to facilitate the extensive work being done on the escalator system.

The St. Petersburg Metro announced the changes via their official Telegram channel, advising passengers to plan their trips accordingly.

The metro administration has stated that the restricted entry times may be adjusted depending on real-time passenger flow. They encourage commuters to stay informed about potential changes to the schedule. The information is subject to updates as the situation evolves.
