Residents of several streets in the Sovetsky district of Novosibirsk are slated to be relocated from their wooden two-story homes as part of a Comprehensive Territorial Development (KRT) program. The affected streets include Shaturskaya, Rubinova, Rossiyskaya, Istrinskaya, and Gnesinykh.

The initiative, announced in September 2024, envisions the construction of multi-story buildings on the site currently occupied by these older structures. As of now, the area is largely vacant, with only a few residential buildings still inhabited.

Notices were posted on the doors of the remaining barracks five months after the initial announcement, specifically in February 2025, informing residents that they were required to vacate their apartments by February 7, 2025.
