Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called for increased international pressure on Russia following recent missile and drone attacks on Kyiv and other Ukrainian locations. According to Zelenskyy, these attacks demonstrate Russia’s intent to prolong the conflict.

Zelenskyy stated that the current level of pressure on Russia is inadequate, citing over 1,460 guided bombs, nearly 670 drones, and 30 missiles used against Ukraine in the past week alone. He emphasized that these attacks are targeting civilians, including children.

Zelenskyy made these announcements today on “X,” arguing that these attacks are Russian President Vladimir Putin’s response to all diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the conflict.
