VMRO-DPMNE has stated that SDSM acknowledges the growth of the Macedonian economy following a period of economic downturn. The ruling party responded to a press conference held by SDSM Vice-President Kristina Kostova, highlighting the positive trends under their governance.
According to VMRO-DPMNE, Macedonia has experienced GDP growth of 3% or more for the third consecutive quarter. They emphasize that this growth is significant, given the economic conditions they inherited.
The party further commented on SDSM’s concerns about inflation, stating that the current administration is managing to gradually decrease and control it. They reminded that inflation was double-digit under SDSM’s leadership, negatively impacting the living standards of citizens.
VMRO-DPMNE welcomes what it sees as SDSM’s implicit recognition that the government’s economic policies are producing positive outcomes. They believe that the economy is recovering, GDP is increasing, and inflation is decreasing, reversing the trends seen during SDSM’s term.
