VMRO-DPMNE has responded to concerns raised by SDSM regarding the reconstruction of Vladimir Komarov Street in Aerodrom Municipality, stating that the project is progressing according to the agreed-upon plan. The party asserts that SDSM is attempting to divert attention by focusing on municipal matters like sidewalks.

According to VMRO-DPMNE, outdoor construction projects are subject to weather conditions and contractual obligations. The reconstruction of Vladimir Komarov Street and its sidewalks is being carried out in accordance with the existing agreement and current site conditions.

The party clarifies that heavy rainfall in April hindered progress, preventing adequate soil compaction required for asphalt paving. Supervisory authorities therefore did not authorize asphalt paving during that period.

Furthermore, the sidewalks extending from Jane Sandanski Boulevard towards the Skopje Railway Station are slated for reconstruction in the second phase of the project. VMRO-DPMNE states that a project proposal has been submitted to the Government for funding to facilitate this undertaking. The party assures the public that both central and local VMRO-DPMNE administrations are committed to implementing projects aimed at improving the quality of life for all citizens throughout the country.
