VMRO-DPMNE has accused Dimitar Apasiev and the Levica party of hypocrisy and engaging in questionable business practices. The party alleges that their public image of modesty and leftist activism is a facade.
The core of the accusation revolves around the purchase of business premises in a prime Skopje location at a significantly reduced price. VMRO-DPMNE claims Apasiev and Levica acquired the property, exceeding 400 square meters, for a price three times lower than its market value.
The statement further alleges that Apasiev collaborated with executors, individuals he previously criticized, to facilitate the acquisition of the property.
VMRO-DPMNE states that the business space is owned by Zoran Ivanovski, a member of the Levica presidency and the Board of Directors of Vodovod-Skopje (Waterworks-Skopje). The property is said to be a building with a high ground floor, contrary to claims that it was merely a basement. A catering and services company, Paviljon 36 DOOEL Skopje (Pavilion 36 LTD Skopje), is registered at the same address.
According to VMRO-DPMNE, Apasiev and Levica are using false demagoguery and empty populism to deceive their members and sympathizers. They accuse them of prioritizing personal gain, such as acquiring business facilities, expensive cars, and luxurious vacations, over the interests of the people they claim to represent.
