The “Vlen” coalition is scheduled to meet today at 2 PM to discuss its strategy following the Alliance for Albanians’ decision to field its own candidates for councilors in the upcoming local elections. The meeting’s outcome will determine the coalition’s stance on Arben Taravari’s party and its continued involvement within “Vlen.”

First Deputy Prime Minister Izet Mexhiti confirmed that the public will be informed of “Vlen’s” official position after the meeting concludes.

Arben Taravari, the President of the Alliance for Albanians, previously stated that his party intends to remain within the “Vlen” coalition unless they are excluded. However, they will participate in the local elections with a separate list of candidates for councilors.

Taravari also noted that no decisions have yet been made regarding candidates for mayors in the local elections.
