A 43-year-old man, S.B., from the village of Volino in the municipality of Debarca, was arrested last night following a violent incident after a Third Football League match. The attack targeted R.N., a 25-year-old football player from the village of Grnchari near Resen, who was playing for the visiting team.

The incident occurred in Volino immediately after the conclusion of the football game. R.N. sustained physical injuries as a result of the attack and was subsequently transferred to “St. Erasmus” hospital in Ohrid for medical treatment.

Law enforcement officials are currently documenting the full details of the event. Once the investigation is complete, authorities will file a report against S.B. regarding the assault.
