As of 8:00 AM, a total of 29 open-space fires have been reported, according to the Crisis Management Center. Of these, 5 are currently active, 2 are under control, and 22 have been extinguished.
The active fires are located in:
- Municipality of Želino: near the village of Želino towards Erebino on Žeden mountain, affecting low-stem forest, bushes, and low vegetation.
- Municipality of Vasilevo: in the village of Nivičino, impacting low-stem forest, spruce, bushes, and low vegetation.
- Municipality of Makedonski Brod: in the village of Grešnica, burning mixed forest and low vegetation.
- Municipality of Makedonski Brod: a reactivated fire between the villages of Crešnevo, Lokvica, and Krapa, affecting degraded oak forest, bushes, and low vegetation.
- Municipality of Prilep: between the villages of Carević and Smolani, consuming mixed forest and low vegetation.
The fires that are now under control are in:
- Municipality of Makedonski Brod: in the village of Slatina, affecting spruce, dry grass, and other low vegetation.
- Municipality of Veles: near the villages of Džidimirci, Krušje, and Ivankovci, involving mixed low-stem degraded forest.
Fires have been successfully extinguished in the following municipalities: Studeničani (Gorno Količani, Batinci), Butel, Saraj, Kisela Voda, Kruševo, Demir Hisar, Resen, Dojran, Struga, Sveti Nikole, Štip, Kočani, Kumanovo, Lipkovo, Staro Nagoričane, Tetovo, Brvenica, and Gostivar.
