A member of parliament questioned where the Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Macedonia (CCM) publishes salary information, suggesting it is hidden. The MP claimed that Peshevski, the union head, earns significantly more than the minimum daily wage received by the scaffolding workers he represents.

The MP asserted that Peshevski was appointed by a small group within CCM, not elected, and that he and his associates from the Social Democratic Union (SDS) inherit their positions. The MP further stated that Peshevski’s wealth and income resemble those of a communist director.

The MP added that to believe Peshevski represents workers’ rights would be akin to believing his mentor Zaev is honest and that they are both like Lech Walesa.
