Two individuals from the Tetovo area were arrested yesterday for significantly exceeding the speed limit in separate incidents.

A 28-year-old, E.A. from the village of Poroj, was apprehended at 3:00 PM on the regional road Tetovo-village Jazhince, near the village of Tearce. He was driving a Volkswagen Golf at 103 km/h in an area where the speed limit was 50 km/h.

Later, at 6:54 PM, S.R., a 35-year-old from the village of Gjermo, was arrested on the Skopje-Tetovo highway near “Studena Voda.” He was driving a BMW at 173 km/h in a zone with a 100 km/h speed limit.

Both individuals were taken into police custody. After the cases are fully processed, they will face charges under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code for reckless driving.
