Two separate incidents of violence against children occurred in Skopje schools yesterday, prompting police investigation. These incidents follow a reported physical altercation at a Karposh childcare facility earlier in the week.
Around 11:00 AM yesterday, a 14-year-old boy was attacked in the schoolyard of an elementary school in Shuto Orizari. Police are currently working to identify the attacker in this case.
Approximately one hour later, a similar incident occurred in an elementary school in the municipality of Aerodrom, where a child was attacked by a classmate. The circumstances surrounding this attack are also under investigation.
Adding to concerns about juvenile violence, police reported a disturbance at a public childcare facility in Karposh on April 15. The incident involved a physical altercation between two minors residing at the facility, resulting in damage to property.
