Two individuals from Prilep have been apprehended by police in Demir Hisar on suspicion of causing a fire at the city landfill. S.F., aged 28, and A.S., aged 48, were arrested yesterday by officers from the Demir Hisar Police Department.

The suspects are accused of committing the crime of “causing public danger,” a violation of Article 288 of the Criminal Code.

During a search, authorities discovered items believed to have been used to ignite the blaze in their possession.

Police have stated that a formal report will be filed against the two individuals after the incident is fully documented.
