A pedestrian was seriously injured yesterday in Skopje in a traffic accident on a service road linking boulevards Nikola Karev and Krste Misirkov.

According to the Ministry of Interior, the accident occurred when a Volkswagen Lupo, driven by an 18-year-old identified as L.J. from Saraj, Skopje, struck a 67-year-old Skopje resident, I.B.

I.B. sustained serious bodily injuries and was admitted to the “St. Naum Ohridski” General City Hospital in Skopje for treatment.

Authorities conducted an investigation at the scene.
