The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Timcho Mucunski, has received copies of credentials from Arun Kumar Sahu, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of North Macedonia. The ceremony took place recently, marking an important step in diplomatic relations.

The meeting underscored the positive relationship between North Macedonia and India and a mutual desire to strengthen ties. Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation on both bilateral and multilateral fronts.

Mucunski and Sahu discussed ways to boost political dialogue through high-level visits, placing particular emphasis on expanding economic cooperation between the two nations.

Ambassador Sahu conveyed the Indian government’s strong interest in its relationship with North Macedonia. He stated that his primary focus will be on fostering trade, investment, and collaboration in sectors like technology and tourism.
