Three pedestrians were injured in separate incidents across North Macedonia yesterday, in Skopje, Negotino, and Kavadarci.
In Skopje, at 9:00 AM, a 20-year-old driver, S.A., struck a 33-year-old pedestrian, E.R., at the intersection of Vladimir Komarov and Bojmija streets. E.R. sustained serious injuries.
Later, at 2:45 PM in Negotino, a 76-year-old pedestrian, M.I., was hit by a car driven by D.U., 24, from Pepelishte village. M.I. suffered serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the General Hospital Kavadarci. The incident occurred at the intersection of Nikola Petrov and Marshal Tito streets.
The third incident took place at 8:15 PM on Resavska Street in Kavadarci. A 33-year-old pedestrian, H.I., was struck by a vehicle whose driver subsequently fled the scene. H.I. sustained serious bodily injuries, as confirmed at the General Hospital Kavadarci.
Authorities conducted investigations at all three accident locations.
