Three individuals were arrested in Kumanovo and Kratovo for drunk driving and traffic violations. Police officers from the Kumanovo road traffic safety police station and the Kratovo road traffic safety department made the arrests.

A.M. (38) from Kumanovo, A.R. (49) from the village of Vaksince, Lipkovo municipality, and Z.L. (60) from the village of Stracin, Kratovo, were taken into custody.

During a traffic control in Kumanovo, A.M., driving a Citroen, was found to have a blood alcohol level of 1.56 per mille. A.R., operating an Opel, registered 1.55 per mille.

In Kratovo, Z.L. failed to stop at a stop sign and attempted to flee before being apprehended. His blood alcohol content was measured at 2.28 per mille.

Following the complete documentation of these incidents, charges will be filed against the individuals under Article 297-A of the Criminal Code, pertaining to the “reckless driving of a motor vehicle.”
