A police officer sustained injuries after being struck by a vehicle driven by an individual from Strumica who disregarded a signal to stop for identification.

The Ministry of Interior reports that criminal charges have been filed against Z.P. (37) from Strumica, for allegedly committing the criminal offense of “attack on an official while performing security work.”

The incident occurred on February 27 in Strumica when the suspect, operating a “Mercedes” vehicle, allegedly drove directly toward police officers instead of stopping as directed for identification and control, resulting in one officer being hit and injured.
