North Macedonia’s net external debt stood at EUR 4,630 million, equivalent to 28.4% of the projected GDP, as of March 31, 2025. This figure represents a minor change compared to the previous quarter.
The negative net international investment position (IIP) for the first quarter of 2025 totaled EUR 8,960 million, accounting for 54.9% of the projected GDP for the year.
