A 65-year-old man from Skopje has reported a fraud to the police after being scammed out of 23,000 euros. He believed he was helping his nephew secure employment.

The man made several payments to the scammer with the understanding that the money would facilitate a job opportunity for his nephew. However, the agreement was not fulfilled, prompting the victim to report the incident to the authorities.

The Ministry of Interior is currently investigating the case and taking measures to clarify the circumstances surrounding the fraud. Further details will be released as the investigation progresses.
