FC Shkendija will play its remaining home games this season without fans present after supporters disrupted a moment of silence for fire victims. The Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) disciplinary commission cited fan misconduct and disrespect during the Shkendija – Brera match as the reason for the penalty. In addition to the empty stadium, the club faces a 5,000 euro fine for poor match organization.
Match delegate Goce Shopovski received a six-month suspension for failing to address the fans’ behavior according to protocol. Shkendija also incurred a 1,000 euro fine for obstructing an official cameraman.
The FFM emphasized its commitment to enforcing responsible behavior from clubs and officials, stating it will not tolerate similar incidents.
