The Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) has initiated disciplinary proceedings against FK Shkendija following the unacceptable behavior of their fans during a moment of silence held to honor the victims of the tragedy in Kochani. Shkendija fans disrupted the silence with singing, chanting, and whistles, demonstrating a lack of respect for the deceased and their families.

FFM strongly condemns this act and assures that appropriate measures will be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future. The federation emphasizes that such inhuman behavior has no place in football.

In contrast, Shkendija Arachinovo displayed dignity and respect during the moment of silence. FFM has previously taken action against clubs for inappropriate fan behavior, including emptying the stands for guest fans in Struga. These measures will be applied consistently and without exception.

FFM reiterates its commitment to ensuring that football remains a sport characterized by respect and dignity.
