The search continues for an elderly person who went missing from the village of Stepanci in the Municipality of Shtip. Authorities were alerted on April 7, 2025, at 4:20 PM via the Single Emergency Call Number 112.

Despite ongoing efforts, the individual remains missing. The Ministry of Interior Shtip and the Local Government of Shtip have been notified, along with other relevant institutions, services, associations, and citizens. The Regional CMC Shtip has also informed the Sector for Operations and Coordination in CMC.

A search operation was conducted yesterday in the vicinity of Stepanci. While there will be no organized search today besides close relatives and friends, a larger-scale search is planned for tomorrow.

The search team will include 10 police officers from the Ministry of Interior, 10 scouts from the “EQUINOX – Shtip” Scout Squad, hunters from the “Hunter” Hunting Association from Shtip, volunteers from RCUK Shtip, local residents from nearby villages, and relatives of the missing person.

The missing person was last seen on Saturday, April 5, 2025.
