The Social Democratic Union of Macedonia (SDSM) has strongly criticized the current government, led by DPMNE, ZNAM, and VLEN, asserting it is the most incompetent and chaotic administration the country has ever experienced. SDSM claims that the government’s internal conflicts and coalition infighting are causing institutions to collapse, impacting citizens directly.
According to SDSM, the government operates as a disorganized cartel, prioritizing personal gain over addressing the needs of the people. This alleged dysfunction is evident in the healthcare system’s collapse, the economy’s decline, and stalled infrastructure projects. Citizens are witnessing party squabbles and scandals instead of tangible results and policies, with a focus on securing tenders and positions.
Furthermore, SDSM alleges that thousands of public sector employees are facing unpaid salaries, while government funds are misallocated. Instead of investing in citizens and workers through salary increases, the government is accused of squandering resources on luxury items like exotic fruits, opulent hotels, private planes, and extravagant state delegation trips.
SDSM concludes that the current administration lacks the capacity, plan, and vision necessary to govern effectively. They describe the situation as organized chaos that undermines the state, characterized by constant disputes, scandals, and overall incompetence.
