SDSM President Venko Filipche has criticized the current government for allegedly neglecting the municipality of Delchevo due to the mayor’s political affiliation. During a visit with Delchevo Mayor Goran Trajkovski, Filipche inspected several capital projects within the city.
These projects included the ASNOM hall, a wastewater treatment plant, the new city market, and a new kindergarten capable of accommodating approximately 150 children. Filipche stated these developments are essential improvements to the lives of Delchevo residents.
Filipche asserted that the projects represent an investment in enhancing the quality of life for all citizens. In contrast, he claimed Delchevo is currently overlooked without any capital projects and that the citizens are affected by the lack of government support because the mayor is not from the same political party as the ruling coalition.
Filipche expressed his concern that the government is practicing political segregation and that citizens do not deserve to suffer the consequences. He noted the importance of government support for municipal development, highlighting the current government’s perceived marginalization of Delchevo.
