SDSM Kumanovo Accuses Maksim Dimitrievski of Profiteering and Betraying Principles

The Social Democratic Union of Macedonia (SDSM) in Kumanovo has launched a strong attack against Maksim Dimitrievski, accusing him of being a politician driven by personal gain rather than public service. Marina Manojlovska, president of the Women’s Forum of SDSM Kumanovo, stated that Dimitrievski has betrayed his principles and promises, prioritizing his own interests over the needs of the citizens.

SDSM Kumanovo claims Dimitrievski has used his position for personal enrichment, citing a specific instance where he allegedly secured 300,000 euros through a Detailed Urban Plan. They allege that he collaborated with DUI to pass the plan, turning Kumanovo into a “private company” for his own benefit, with the silent consent of VMRO-DPMNE.

The party also criticizes Dimitrievski’s stance on justice, asserting that he undermines the judiciary to evade legal consequences for his alleged illegal activities. SDSM Kumanovo questions the withdrawal of a prosecutor’s office in a case against him, suggesting that justice is applied selectively in his favor.

Furthermore, the statement condemns Dimitrievski for what they perceive as hypocrisy regarding national issues and crime. They claim he remains silent on national humiliations inflicted by the government and is complicit in the illegal construction activities of his Albanian partners, despite previously condemning such actions.

Manojlovska concludes by calling on the citizens of Kumanovo to reject Dimitrievski and reclaim their city from “profiteers” who prioritize personal gain over public service. She argues that Dimitrievski’s actions demonstrate a willingness to compromise his principles and align with anyone to maintain power and protect his own interests.
