The Social Democratic Union of Macedonia (SDSM) has accused VMRO-DPMNE of rehiring an agency, Market Vision, known for manipulating citizens with false polls, allegedly paying them €400,000 of public funds. According to SDSM, this practice dates back to the era of Nikola Gruevski, former Prime Minister.
The party claims that Market Vision recently secured a deal with the Government worth €400,000 to conduct surveys and assess public opinion and satisfaction with the Government’s performance. SDSM questions the credibility of these polls, suggesting they are designed to manipulate the public and serve the propaganda interests of DPMNE.
SDSM asserts that this manipulative strategy aims to discourage citizens from demanding change, a tactic they associate with Gruevski’s time in power. The party believes that the public has already recognized this tactic.
