Stojanche Atanasov, a member of MC VMRO-DPMNE Negotino, stated at a press conference that SDS is nominating candidates who are merely an extension of old, corrupt practices. He believes this is a continuation of the corruption that has plagued Negotino for years.

Atanasov criticized SDSM’s past performance, alleging they prioritize selling off assets and securing tenders for personal gain over serving the citizens. He claims Negotino is known nationally for irresponsibility and corruption, not development.

He questioned whether the citizens of Negotino will allow the city to be run from the shadows again. According to Atanasov, SDS is again seeking a new mandate with the same people, structures, and interests.

Atanasov emphasized the need for a local government that is transparent, accountable, and focused on progress. He stated this election is a fight for the dignity of the city. He called for a government that works for the people, brings about change, and provides answers instead of excuses.
