The Ministry of Education and Science will award 15 scholarships for the 2025/2026 academic year to encourage secondary students to enroll in Macedonian language programs. These scholarships are intended for full-time students entering their first year of undergraduate studies in Macedonian language at universities in North Macedonia.
The scholarships aim to promote the study of the Macedonian language among young people. The Ministry of Education and Science is dedicating resources to support students pursuing this field of study.
To be eligible, applicants must be full-time students and citizens of North Macedonia. They cannot be recipients of scholarships from other institutions or companies.
The criteria for awarding the scholarships include academic achievement during secondary education, with a minimum average grade of very good required for all four years. Additionally, candidates who previously received a scholarship for talented students from the Ministry of Education and Science will receive an extra point for each year they held that scholarship.
The online application, including the required documentation, must be submitted through http://e-uslugi.mon.gov.mk between November 1, 2025, and November 15, 2025.
The scholarship provides 6,050.00 denars per month for nine months of the academic year. The scholarship will cover the duration of undergraduate studies as outlined by the higher education institution, excluding graduate studies.
