Renovated Visceral and Abdominal Surgery Department Presented at “St Naum Ohridski” Clinic

The University Clinic for Surgical Diseases “St. Naum Ohridski” in Skopje has unveiled its completely renovated and equipped department for visceral and abdominal surgery, a project valued at approximately 4 million denars, thanks to a donation from Sport Life betting shops.

The renovation project, which began in 2024, encompassed a comprehensive overhaul of the department’s interior, including modernized electrical and sanitary installations. Sport Life further augmented their contribution this year by providing new medical equipment.

The donation included 24 new dual-motor medical beds with railings, mattresses, hospital furniture, and IV stands. Additionally, the clinic received 50 anti-decubitus mattresses, 100 patches, 10 blood pressure monitors, and 20 blood glucose meters, addressing specific needs identified by the hospital.

Petar Pockov, Marketing Director of Sport Life, emphasized the company’s commitment to social responsibility. He stated that the renovation and equipping of the department aimed to create improved conditions for post-operative patients in the leading surgical institution.

Dr. Nebojsa Nastov, Director of the Clinic for Surgical Diseases “St. Naum Ohridski,” expressed gratitude for the support. He noted that the renovated space, covering almost 400 m2, will significantly enhance post-operative patient care and treatment. The director welcomed future projects aimed at raising treatment standards and hoped that Sport Life’s contribution would inspire other socially responsible companies.

Sport Life reaffirmed its dedication to supporting projects in health, sports, and other social and humanitarian areas.
