Following the fire at the “Puls” disco in Kochani, 100 injured patients are currently receiving medical care in hospitals both abroad and within the country. Of the 193 individuals injured in the incident, 93 have recovered and been discharged for home treatment.
Health Minister Arben Taravari announced that the condition of one of the four critically injured patients has shown improvement. Twenty patients are being treated in Macedonia, with five at the Clinical Center, seven at the Old City Hospital, five at GOB “8 Septemvri,” and three in private hospitals. Eighty patients are receiving treatment outside of the country, with two additional patients scheduled to return today, and more expected to return by the end of the week.
Minister Taravari highlighted the widespread impact of the event in Kochani, emphasizing its effect on institutions and individuals alike. Plans are underway to determine the appropriate healthcare facility for accommodating the more serious cases upon their return from treatment abroad next week.
