Taxpayers have until Friday to submit their VAT-04 returns, the Public Revenue Office (PRO) has announced. The agency is urging all those who have yet to file to do so by the April 25, 2025 deadline.

As of April 22, 2025, 12,202 taxpayers out of an expected 40,885 have already submitted their VAT-04 returns. This represents almost 30% of the total expected submissions. The PRO is emphasizing the importance of meeting this legal obligation.

The PRO’s IT teams will be working in the afternoon to ensure the smooth submission of VAT-04 returns for this tax period. Taxpayers who still need to submit are encouraged to provide their accountants with the necessary documentation promptly.

Timely submission of VAT-04 returns is described as a key factor for financial stability and building trust in institutions, according to the PRO. The agency is appealing to taxpayers to fulfill their tax obligations by the legal deadline.
