Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski declined to comment on reports that Arben Taravari may leave the “Vredi” coalition. He stated that the government is functioning with unity and the support of 78 members of parliament, suggesting it should continue its work without interference.
This response followed journalists’ questions about whether “Vredi” would request Taravari’s removal from the government if he were to depart.
Taravari has previously stated that the coalition isn’t working together well enough and needs improvement. Disagreements exist within “Vredi” regarding a unified list for upcoming local elections, and some parties have distanced themselves from Taravari’s contact with DUI leader Ali Ahmeti.
Taravari’s party is scheduled to hold an Assembly meeting today.
