President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, currently in Bulgaria for the “Aqaba Process,” informed the media about her visit to patients injured in the Kochani tragedy, who are receiving treatment at the “Pirogov” hospital. She reported that their condition has improved.
During her visit, she also met with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev to address the Kochani tragedy, discuss strategies for unblocking North Macedonia’s European integration, and agreed on the need for more frequent discussions and she expects progress with compromises.
Siljanovska-Davkova expressed her gratitude to Radev, noting that he was the first president to offer assistance following the tragedy in Kochani.
Bulgarian media quoted Siljanovska-Davkova as stating that Radev’s call was significant and highlighted the human element that can emerge during difficult times, transcending political divides, emphasizing that no politician will forget the event.
