President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova met with King Abdullah II of Jordan in Sofia, emphasizing the importance of dialogue, cultural diversity, and regional cooperation for a stable Europe and discussing the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The President invited King Abdullah II to visit, noting the symbolism of the anniversary and the potential for strengthened bilateral cooperation.

Both leaders acknowledged the importance of deepening cultural and educational exchange and intensifying cooperation to stabilize the Middle East region.

President Siljanovska-Davkova commended Jordan’s diplomatic efforts towards a peace agreement between Israel and Hamas, and highlighted the Hashemite Kingdom’s role as a pillar of stability.

The President concluded by stressing the need for United Nations reform, to restore its original mission of peacefully resolving issues.
