Independent councilor Venko Krstevski is reportedly seeking to become acting mayor of Kochani, promising significant improvements within seven months. Krstevski plans to address issues such as unregulated catering, illegal stalls, and local infrastructure problems.

Krstevski, a councilor for nearly eight years, aims to tackle long-standing problems, drawing upon his experience and familiarity with local concerns. He intends to focus on issues like the landfill, traffic, and the water and sewage systems.

He also intends to be more involved with FC Osogovo, citing his past involvement with the Sejmeni fan group and GFK Osogovo. Krstevski has been actively involved in proposing solutions and taking action following a recent tragedy in Kochani.
