Skopje police conducted an enhanced traffic control action today, sanctioning a total of 96 traffic participants for various violations. The operation, carried out by the Traffic Safety Department of the SIA Skopje, took place between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM.

A significant portion of the sanctions, 41 in total, were issued for speeding. Authorities also penalized 15 motorcyclists for not wearing protective helmets.

Four individuals were sanctioned for driving without a valid driver’s license. Additionally, two people received sanctions for operating a motorcycle without possessing the appropriate license category.

In other violations, two minors were caught driving motorcycles without having passed the required driving test. One individual was taken to a police station for failing to comply with police officer instructions. Finally, 31 measures were issued for other miscellaneous traffic violations.

The Ministry of Interior has announced that traffic controls will continue in the coming days. The police are urging all traffic participants to adhere to traffic laws and regulations to enhance road safety.
