Peugeot is enhancing its E-208 model, the top-selling electric B-segment vehicle in Europe, with an extended range of 433km, solidifying its leading position in the segment. The updated Peugeot E-208 also introduces new features, including an integrated Trip Planner and Vehicle to Load (V2L) functionality for easily charging small electrical devices.
The E-208 now boasts a best-in-segment range of up to 433 km (WLTP combined cycle) for models equipped with the 156 hp (115 kW) engine, a 23 km improvement that reinforces its efficiency. This efficiency was further validated by the 2024 Ecotest conducted by ADAC, which recognized the Peugeot E-208 as the most efficient car in the European market.
To enhance customer convenience, the Peugeot E-208 now includes a Trip Planner that optimizes routes to maximize range and facilitate charging when paired with the optional connected navigation system. The system considers distance, battery level, desired charge level upon arrival, and available chargers, while also factoring in energy consumption based on speed, traffic, road type, and altitude.
Additional updates include an “80% charging limit” function for AC charging, allowing users to adjust the charge level based on their daily needs. The E-208 also comes pre-installed with the V2L function, enabling the use of the car’s high-voltage battery to power external electrical devices with up to 3.5 kW and 16A via an adapter available as an accessory.
Furthermore, all new Peugeot 208 models will feature a new multifunctional video camera for enhanced safety, a new Okenite White body color, and a new classification of hybrid engines to meet Euro 7 standards.
All Peugeot 208 models maintain their athletic design, improved driving enjoyment with the Peugeot i-Cockpit, and a comprehensive range of engine options, including Petrol, Hybrid, and Electric variants.
