VMRO-DPMNE MP Brane Petrushevski is demanding that Venko Filipche explain what additional profits he received from ESM coal tenders, beyond the Audi Q8, from companies linked to Vice Zaev and Enis Kolasinac.
Petrushevski alleges a connection between Filipche and Zaev’s companies in Bulgaria, claiming they share the same office space and that money is being funneled between them. He stated that Vice Zaev’s company in Bulgaria, Gomasidra, which collected 9 million euros from the coal, is located at the same address as his company “Power i8 Ltd”.
He asserts that Filipche was rewarded with a luxury Audi for his role in the coal tenders.
Petrushevski is calling on the Public Prosecutor’s Office to investigate Filipche, citing two main reasons: that a company that won a state tender for coal delivery bought him an Audi Q8 jeep for 130,000 euros, and that millions from the tender ended up in Vice Zaev’s company in Bulgaria, which shares an office with Filipche’s company.
