Perinski in Štip: Support for the Eastern Region Means a Stable Basis for Development and Progress

Government officials visited Štip and Karbinci to inspect ongoing projects and affirm their commitment to supporting local development. The visits highlighted significant investments in infrastructure and innovation aimed at improving the quality of life for citizens in the eastern region.

Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski emphasized that government support would continue regardless of mayors’ political affiliations, underscoring the administration’s commitment to investing in all areas of the country. Minister of Local Self-Government Zlatko Perinski echoed this sentiment, stating that the projects aim to enable a modern and prosperous life for all citizens of Macedonia.

In Štip, Minister Perinski and Prime Minister Mickoski met with Mayor Ivan Jordanov and Municipal Council representatives to discuss current projects and future development strategies. They inspected the construction of a 141 million denar bypass project and “Partizanska” boulevard, both financed through government and municipal funds, respectively. Additionally, they attended the opening of the “Markerspace” laboratory at “Goce Delchev” University, a modern facility intended to foster innovation and research among students, academics, startups, and businesses. Mayor Jordanov highlighted that the investments in Štip, totaling over 10 million euros over three years, are the highest in the city’s history.

In Karbinci, government officials inspected the reconstruction of a service street in the village of Tarinci, also funded through a government public call. Mayor Paunov expressed gratitude for the government’s support, noting that it represents the largest financial assistance the municipality has ever received.

Minister Perinski affirmed the government’s commitment to supporting local governments, stating that these projects not only improve infrastructure but also provide hope for a better future in Macedonia.
