A 28-year-old pedestrian suffered severe injuries after being struck by a vehicle, and the driver subsequently left the location. The incident occurred last night on “Boris Trajkovski” street in Skopje, as reported by the police.

The Skopje Police Department stated that the accident took place around 6:15 p.m. on “Boris Trajkovski” street, near the intersection with “Sasa” street, in Skopje. A passenger vehicle hit S.M. (28), a pedestrian from the village of Strahojadica, Skopje. Following the impact, the driver departed the scene with the vehicle.

S.M. sustained serious physical injuries in the collision, which were verified at the “St. Naum Ohridski” General Hospital, according to the Ministry of Interior.

An investigative team from the Skopje Police Department conducted an inspection of the site, and actions are being implemented to investigate the circumstances of the event.
