Parents of Victims of “Puls” Disco Fire in Kochani Continue Protests Demanding Justice

KOCHANI – The parents of young people who tragically lost their lives in the “Puls” disco fire held another protest march in Kochani, under the banner “Delayed Reaction,” demanding justice and accountability. Marking their fourth gathering since the devastating incident, they vowed to persist in their struggle to ensure the responsible parties are brought to justice.

Marching from Revolution Park through the streets of Kochani, protesters voiced strong messages against corruption, urging the state to dismantle criminal networks and uphold justice.

In front of the Municipality of Kochani building, where several inspection services are housed, the protesters directly questioned the authorities about their responsibilities and failures that contributed to the death of their children.

The protest extended to the Police Station in Kochani, where the Ministry of the Interior faced sharp criticism for allegedly failing to prevent criminal activities at the “Puls” disco. Parents questioned the authorities about reports of drug sales at the disco and whether profits were prioritized over the safety of their children.

Continuing to the Basic Court and the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the marchers fervently demanded swift and genuine justice for their children, questioning the value placed on their lives.

The protest concluded at Revolution Park, where it began. The parents affirmed their unwavering commitment to fighting for their children, promising to return with a stronger, louder, and more numerous presence until justice is served.
