North Macedonia is actively implementing reforms and significantly contributing to regional development, according to Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski during a meeting with Madeline Knox, Director for the Western Balkans at the United Kingdom’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Nikoloski highlighted Macedonia’s crucial role in the ongoing progress of political and economic relations within the Western Balkans.
The government’s implemented measures and policies aim to reduce trade barriers, boost trade, and enhance the competitiveness of economies across the Western Balkan nations.
Nikoloski reaffirmed the strategic friendship between North Macedonia and the United Kingdom, acknowledging the support provided by the UK for the country’s advancement.
Discussions also encompassed strengthening economic cooperation, exploring potential new investments, and fostering collaboration between the two countries in areas of shared interest.
Both sides concurred that North Macedonia and the United Kingdom maintain positive, amicable relations and pledged to reinforce this partnership through tangible processes and projects.
