A new battery factory, backed by a European Union-based investor, is set to be established in the industrial zone of Shtip, North Macedonia. Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski confirmed the investment, highlighting its potential to significantly boost the national economy.
The factory is expected to employ up to 150 people in the region.
The project represents a substantial investment of approximately 35 million euros.
Within three years, the factory is projected to generate 300 million euros in exports, contributing significantly to North Macedonia’s Gross Domestic Product.
Further details about additional investments are expected to be announced as agreements are finalized.
