North Macedonia Announces Increase in Retail Prices for Petroleum Products

The Regulatory Commission for Energy, Water Services and Municipal Waste Management Services of the Republic of North Macedonia (RKE) has decided to raise the retail prices of petroleum products by an average of 1.84% compared to the decision made on March 24, 2025.

Effective April 2, 2025, at 00:01, the maximum prices for petroleum products are set as follows: Motor gasoline EUROSUPER BS-95 will cost 76.50 denars per liter; Motor gasoline EUROSUPER BS-98 will be priced at 79.00 denars per liter; Diesel fuel EURODIESEL BS (D-E V) will be available for 69.00 denars per liter; Heating oil Extra light 1 (EL-1) will also cost 69.00 denars per liter; and Fuel oil M-1 NS will be priced at 41.705 denars per kilogram.

The retail prices for gasoline EUROSUPER BS-95 and EUROSUPER BS-98 have increased by 1.50 denars per liter. Similarly, the retail prices for EURODIESEL (D-E V) and Extra light household oil (EL-1) have risen by 1.00 denar per liter. The retail price of Fuel oil M-1 NS has seen an increase of 0.950 denar per kilogram, bringing the new price to 41.705 denars per kilogram.

Reference prices for petroleum products on the world market, when compared to the previous calculation, indicate an average increase of 3.381% for gasoline, 1.884% for diesel, 1.987% for extra light oil, and approximately 2.396% for fuel oil. Furthermore, the exchange rate of the denar against the dollar during the period used for the previous price calculation has increased by 0.7218%.
