Nine Injured in Kočani Disco Fire Treated in Skopje, 48 Abroad

The Minister of Health, Arben Taravari, announced that nine individuals injured in the “Puls” disco fire in Kočani are currently receiving treatment in Skopje, while 48 are being treated abroad. Two patients are in critical condition, while the remainder are stable.

According to Taravari, nine patients are in Skopje, including two at the Clinical Center for Plastic Surgery, one at the “8 Septemvri” hospital, four at the old city hospital, and two at private hospitals. Their condition is described as relatively good and stable.

A total of 48 patients are receiving treatment abroad. One patient is expected to be discharged today. Among those being treated abroad, two remain in critical condition, while the others are either in rehabilitation or awaiting surgery.

The Minister reported that, out of the 193 patients initially hospitalized after the accident, 57 are currently still receiving hospital treatment.

In positive news, Taravari shared that a patient who had to be resuscitated twice is now in good condition and has begun to move.
