A new children’s playground has opened in the Ilinden settlement, bringing joy to the youngest residents. The Municipality of Ilinden continues its work on urbanizing all settlements, with this project specifically benefiting the children of Ilinden.

The playground is located near the new regional primary school in Ilinden. It features a concrete base covered with rubber tiles for safety.

The playground includes a combined slide, a double swing, a single seesaw, and various other children’s play figures. A pencil-shaped fence surrounds the area for safety.

Paving elements, lighting, benches, and waste baskets have also been installed to enhance the space and ensure its maintenance. Aleksandar Georgievski, the Mayor of the Municipality of Ilinden, inspected the playground.

Georgievski emphasized the importance of the playground for the relaxation and recreation of the youngest residents, alongside the spatial urbanization efforts. The municipality has announced further plans to build new playgrounds and reconstruct existing ones in other settlements in the coming period. The new playground represents the continuation of successful projects by the Municipality of Ilinden focused on urbanization and improving all settlements within the municipality.
