The NBA has announced suspensions for multiple players from the Detroit Pistons and Minnesota Timberwolves following a significant on-court altercation during their game in Minneapolis.
The incident, triggered by a foul committed by Ron Holland on Naz Reid, overshadowed the game’s outcome and escalated into a physical confrontation involving several players.
Isaiah Stewart of the Pistons received the harshest penalty, a two-game suspension without pay, due to his prior record of unsportsmanlike behavior, according to NBA Head of Basketball Operations Joe Dumars.
Holland and Marcus Sasser of the Pistons, along with Reid and DiVincenzo of the Timberwolves, each received a one-game suspension for their involvement in the brawl.
