ZELS President and Kisela Voda Mayor Orce Gjorgjievski announced on Sitel television that municipalities have been conducting thorough safety checks of public facilities to ensure citizen safety. These checks, performed in 90% of municipalities, confirm that schools and kindergartens are safe.

Gjorgjievski emphasized the importance of calming the public and assuring parents that schools and kindergartens are structurally sound. He noted that any anomalies discovered during the checks should be addressed by school principals in cooperation with local governments.

Gjorgjievski also mentioned that as Mayor of Kisela Voda Municipality, inspection controls are carried out annually, even though not required by law. He further stated that he will propose a budget rebalance at an upcoming Council session to subsidize the installation of hydrant networks in buildings lacking them, accompanied by increased penalties for non-compliance.
